According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Jani Khel area of Bannu.
In the retaliatory action of the security forces, 2 terrorists were killed, while 2 soldiers were martyred while fighting bravely in the exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, the martyrs include 40-year-old Naib Subidar Ghulam Murtaza and 41-year-old Havaldar Muhammad Anwar.
Shaheed Naib Subidar Ghulam Murtaza belonged to Bahawalpur and Shaheed Havaldar Muhammad Anwar belonged to Siasalkot.
ISPR says that the security forces are conducting a search operation to eliminate possible terrorists in the area.
The local people have fully supported the operation and expressed their determination to cooperate in the eradication of terrorism.
