The Federal Ministry of Finance has released the Fiscal Operation Report 2022-23, according to which the expenditure in the last financial year in the coalition government increased by 2 thousand 860 billion rupees.

According to the report, interest payments increased by 2,649 billion rupees in one year, and defense expenditure increased by 174 billion rupees last fiscal year, while the budget deficit increased by 1,261 billion 55 million rupees last fiscal year.

The report states that the budget deficit in the fiscal year 2022-23 was 7.7 percent of the GDP, while the budget deficit in the fiscal year 2021-22 was 7.9 percent of the GDP. .
