Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s announcement to give 5 lakh rupees per person
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali announced an ex-gratia of Rs 20 lakh per person for the families of those killed in the Bajaur attack and Rs 7 lakh per person for the injured.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Governor KP Haji Ghulam Ali participated in the commemoration ceremony held at Civil Colony Khargarh Hall in Bajaur.
Addressing the event, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we are fighting a peaceful political struggle in this country, we have no enmity with anyone, I strongly condemn the explosion of Ulama, Hafaz and religious gathering in Bajaur.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the government and the state also have some responsibilities which should be fulfilled, why are our scholars being martyred in Bajaur and other areas, the Pashtuns of Sindh are being oppressed, the enemy is killing us with these martyrdoms. Can’t get discouraged.
The head of JUI said that from the United Nations to China, Iran and Saudi Arabia, such an incident has been strongly condemned. Killing any innocent Muslim is not the honor of a Muslim. I have called a Jirga of the Pashtuns yesterday. I invite all the leaders of the former Governor Engineer Shaukatullah Khan Samit to participate in the Jirga.

On this occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa announced Rs 20 lakh per person for the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 7 lakh per person for the injured.
It should be noted that 54 people were killed and 83 injured in a suicide blast at the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam workers’ convention in Khar area of Bajaur on July 31.
