Supreme Court dismisses PTI members’ request for resignations
A petition filed in the Supreme Court regarding the resignations of PTI was heard, a two -member bench headed by Chief Justice Omar Ata Bandial heard the petition.
The PTI lawyer made a stand in the court that the 2013 assembly had expired, and the resignation request had become ineffective.
A two -member bench headed by Chief Justice Omar Atta Bandial dismissed the petition as ineffective.
It should be noted that Shahid Orakzai filed a petition in the Supreme Court for approval of PTI’s resignations in 2014.
