A special court, set up under the Official Secrets Act, sought response by August 29
A special court, set up under the Official Secrets Act, has granted interim bail till August 29, preventing the FIA from arrest. Asad Omar came out on Tuesday. Earlier, the PTI claimed his arrest.
Official Secrets Act Special Court Judge Abul Hasanat Mohammad Zulqarnain heard the request of Asad Omar.
Babar Awan appeared on behalf of Asad Omar, the court issued notices to the FIA, preventing Asad Omar from arrest, and sought response by August 29.
It may be recalled that Asad Omar had filed a petition in the Official Secret Act of the Special Court for interim bail in the Saif case.
The news of my arrest is wrong
It should be noted that on August 20, it was reported that PTI leader Asad Omar was also arrested for violating the official secret act. And sources said that Asad Omar has been arrested by Islamabad police from the federal capital, he has been arrested on a cuffer case, and will be handed over to the FIA.
However, while talking to Geo News on the occasion of the first and sole special court set up in Islamabad today, Asad Omar denied his arrest and said that I was not arrested by the FIA.
Asad Omar said that he had come to the court on the case of Saffer and filed a pre -arrest petition. I have been investigated twice in this case. Hopefully he will prove to be innocent.
