An earthquake jolted Islamabad and surrounding areas around 6:15 am on Friday.
According to the details, the earthquake originated 29 kilometers west of Islamabad and the tremors were felt in Islamabad, Haripur, Taxila and other areas.
Residents of Islamabad came out of their homes due to the earthquake,
It is pertinent to mention that people are already scared after the horrific earthquakes of Turkiye and Syria that claimed lives of over 47,000 people.
The earthquake was recorded at 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale.
There have been no reports of casualties or damages caused by the quake.
