Lawyer Salman Safdar filed a constitutional petition
The Registrar’s Office objected to the petition against further possible arrests of Chairman PTI, saying that a direct application of this kind in the Supreme Court was incredible.
A constitutional petition was filed in the Supreme Court against further possible arrests of PTI chairman Imran Khan. The petition was filed by lawyer Salman Safdar.
The Supreme Court returned the petition of Chairman PTI, saying that the petitioner directly approached the Supreme Court, while the applicant had the relevant forum to challenge the trial court’s decision.
The Registrar’s Office raised the objection that a direct application of this kind in the Supreme Court was unacceptable.
It may be recalled that Imran Khan is currently serving a three -year jail sentence in Attock Jail in the Tosha house case, and after being imprisoned in his jail, he was also arrested in the Safer disappearance case on August 19.
