Deaths due to rains in the country have increased to 78

During the recent rains in the country, the death toll in various accidents rose to 78.

48 people died in Punjab, 20 people died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, more than 130 people were injured.

In recent incidents, 2 more deaths were reported due to electrocution in Raiwind and Kasur.

9 people were injured in the incidents of roof collapse in Nishtar Town and Shahdara Town of Lahore.

The highway has been affected by the rain in Kohlu, due to which Kohlu, including Sibi, has lost its land connection with interior Balochistan.

Heavy rains are forecast today
On the other hand, apart from the federal capital Islamabad, heavy rains have been predicted in the Punjab cities of Lahore, Gujranwala and Sialkot.

Clouds are also likely to rain in other cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas.

Rain is also expected in Peshawar, Swat, Chitral, Dir, Kohistan today.

The hilly areas of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are prone to landslides and flooding in rivers.

Meanwhile, the ongoing rain in different areas of Balochistan has stopped.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in some areas of Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Shirani, Musa Khel this evening.

Bolan, Lasbela, Dera Bugti, Sabi, Kohlu and Jhal Magsi may also experience rain in the evening.
