Islamabad: Federal Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed deep concern to his Danish counterpart over the desecration of Holy Quran.
Bilawal Bhutto said that Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kars Lokke Rasmussen had contacted him on the phone, during which he expressed deep concern over the desecration of the Holy Quran in Denmark and other European countries.
The foreign minister said that Denmark has condemned these heinous incidents and is in contact with Muslim countries.
He said that I urged the Danish counterpart to stop such Islamophobic incidents that hurt the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
He further said that I also emphasized on harmony between religions and promotion of religious tolerance
