The search for the 2 pilots in the helicopter continues
A training helicopter crashed into the sea in the United Arab Emirates, with two pilots on board.
An Aerogulf helicopter crashed into the sea with two pilots on board after taking off from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport, the Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement on Friday.
The authority says that the rescue teams took immediate action and removed the wreckage of the helicopter and the search for the crew is on.
It may be noted that the authority received the news of the helicopter crash from its air accident investigation department at around 8:30 p.m.
The pilots in the helicopter were on a night training flight from Egypt and South Africa.
