He said that Aafia was wearing a white scarf and a khaki prison dress. In the first hour of the two-and-a-half-hour meeting, Dr. Aafia told the details of the torture she was going through every day and said that I remember my mother, the children all the time (they remember her mother’s). He further said that Dr. Aafia’s front teeth had fallen/lost due to the attack in the jail and she was also having difficulty hearing due to a head injury.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that although the situation is alarming, but the meetings and discussions have opened up, now the need is for the people to raise their voice and force the rulers to take immediate steps and raise the issue of Aafia’s release with the American government. .
He added that the meeting is scheduled again on Thursday and I will meet myself.
