Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Raza Naqvi has said that conducting elections is the job of the Election Commission.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab visited the project to link Lahore, Sialkot Motorway to Gujranwala and inspected the ongoing construction works on the project.
He said that high construction standards should be ensured in the Gujranwala Motorway Link Road project, additional resources should be utilized to complete the project within the stipulated period.
Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the road under construction of Gujranwala Motorway Link Road Project.
In the briefing on this occasion, the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab was told that the obstacles to the early construction of this project costing 11 billion rupees have been successfully removed. will provide access, utilizing all resources to complete the project within 90 days.
The briefing further informed that modern travel facilities will save time and fuel and reduce traffic congestion on GT Road. FWO officials briefed Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi about the project.
Speaking to the media after the visit, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi said that despite the rains, this project will be completed on time, due to the rains there was some delay in the work, but it will be completed by working day and night, Gujranwala. will be linked to the motorway soon.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the shuttle service between the two hospitals of Gujranwala has been started, the lack of HR in the hospitals will be met, the preliminary investigation of the Islamia University Bahawalpur incident has been completed, those responsible will be severely punished. A judicial inquiry will also be conducted, the police has been fully empowered.
