Iman Mazari’s request to meet his mother must be considered, the court said
The hearing of the case of interference in the government was adjourned until Iman Mazari was produced in court.
The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad heard the case of sedition, intimidation and incitement against Iman Zainab Mazari in which prosecutor Raja Naveed and the accused’s lawyers appeared.
The lawyers requested Iman Mazari to appear in court soon and to be allowed to meet her mother, on which Judge Abul Hasnat said that the request to meet her mother will definitely be considered.
Lawyer Safai said that orders should be issued to bring Iman Mazari to court soon. On this, the judge said that the police have to present the accused, not the case of MPM.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing until Iman Mazari was produced.
It should be noted that two days ago the court of Islamabad had approved the bail application of Iman Zainab Mazari.
