Onar Javed Afridi of Peshawar Zalmi termed the fine as “charity”.

KARACHI: The owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, made an inappropriate comment on social media over the penalty imposed on the team for slow over rate.

In the match played at the National Stadium Karachi, the teams of Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi faced each other, where Zalmi defeated the Kings by 2 runs after a thrilling contest.

However, the match referee Ali Naqvi imposed a 10% fine on each player including captain Babar Azam due to one over less than the stipulated time frame against Peshawar Zalmi, which Onar Javed Afridi described as charity.
