Imran Khan is currently in Attock jail and is likely to be transferred to another jail.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan was arrested yesterday from his residence Zaman Park in Lahore and transferred to Attock Jail, where he spent the night in the “C Class” barracks like ordinary prisoners, because in District Jail Attock “A” ” and “B” category barracks do not exist.
By the way, Imran Khan was supposed to be taken to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi after his arrest, but the authorities decided to keep him in Attock Jail at the last moment.
Now they are likely to be transferred to a jail that has “A” and “B” class barracks.
Possibly, two prisons are being considered for political prisoners, one is Adiala, the other is Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
But both of them are not doing well in this season.
The weather temperature in Attock is currently 33 degrees Celsius, which turns the C-class barracks into an oven.
Similarly, the temperature in Adiala is 33 degrees Celsius, where a B-class fan might provide some relief.
But if Imran Khan is shifted to Kot Lakhpat, it will be difficult for him, as the temperature there is up to 34 degrees Celsius, which might even heat the air of the fan.
Light rain is expected in Kot Lakhpat till evening, after which some reduction in heat is expected.
