Hurricane Daniel has wreaked havoc in Greece, the number of people killed in various accidents has reached 10, the 140-year record of stormy rains was also broken in Hong Kong.
The western Greek city of Kardisa was inundated by floodwaters, with only the roofs of houses visible and others washed away.
The floods destroyed bridges and roads, disrupted electricity systems and submerged dozens of villages.
According to meteorologists, this is the worst disaster in Greece since 1930.
On the other hand, Hong Kong’s 140-year-old record of torrential rains has been broken, the city continues to be inundated, the roads are flooded.
Dozens of vehicles are still submerged and schools have been closed.
People have been advised to stay indoors while the Met Bureau has issued a black rainstorm warning.
