A year’s worth of rain in 48 hours, US National Weather Service

Governor Gavin Newsom of the American state of California has issued an alert in the southern part of the country in view of Hurricane Hillary.
Heavy rain and flooding are expected due to possible hurricane. Officials said winds could reach 111 kilometers per hour in California.
It further said that rain is expected in Los Angeles, San Diego, Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.
The U.S. National Weather Service says a year’s worth of rain is possible within 48 hours and the hurricane is moving faster than forecast.
It should be noted that the administration has established shelter homes for coastal people in California.
