Jaranwala Church Incident, Caretaker Prime Minister’s directive to arrest and punish the involved miscreants

All resources should be used to control religious tension and establish peace in Jaranwala.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, while taking notice of the burning of the church after the alleged desecration of the Holy Quran and the deteriorating law and order situation in Jaranwala Tehsil of Faisalabad, Punjab, has expressed regret over the incidents.

The Caretaker Prime Minister wrote in a message on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter), “The heart is deeply saddened by the news received from Jaranwala, Faisalabad”.

The caretaker prime minister directed to arrest and punish the miscreants involved in the incidents and further wrote that “action will be taken against those who violate the law and target the minorities”.

He said that the government of Pakistan stands side by side with its minorities.

On the other hand, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed concern over the poor situation of peace and demanded that all resources should be used to control the religious tension in Jaranwala and establish peace.

Bilawal Bhutto says that Pakistan People’s Party is the pioneer of protection of religious harmony.

Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the incident and said that Pakistan was formed by the vote of the Christian community, this attitude towards such benefactors is very regrettable.

Shahbaz Sharif further said that the Christian community has given blood for the security and defense of Pakistan, we can never forget these sacrifices and service to the country.

The former prime minister also demanded that strict action should be taken against the violators of the law.
