The ICC World Cup trophy was displayed at the National Cricket Academy Lahore, which will go to the ICC headquarters in Dubai today.
The World Cup trophy reached Pakistan via Australia, England, New Zealand, West Indies, USA, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Italy, France and Papua New Guinea where it was taken to various places including Baldia Uzmi Lahore and educational institutions.
The trophy was also put on display at the National Cricket Academy Lahore. After the three-day tour, the trophy will now leave for Dubai. The World Cup will start from October 5 in India.
The first match will be played between England and New Zealand. Pakistan will play their first match against Netherlands on October 6. The high-voltage Pak-India Takra of the mega event will take place on October 14 in Ahmedabad.
