Medical and dental college entrance tests will be held across the country today, the health ministry has decided to conduct MDCAT separately for students from flood-affected areas.
Examination paper from University of Health Sciences sent to examination centers of Lahore concerned assistant commissioner and police under their supervision left with MD CAT papers, examination will start at 10 am.
9 centers have been set up in Lahore for MD CAT exam, seven centers are reserved for girls and two for boys.
Lahore 19,014 candidates will take the MD CAT exam, among the candidates are 13,259 girls and 5755 boys. Examination centers have been established in Government College University, University of Education Township, Government Apua College for Women.
Admission tests of medical and dental college will be held today in four cities of Sindh including Karachi. Candidates have started arriving at test centers in Karachi, Larkana, Jamshoro and Nawabshah
Jinnah Sindh Medical University also continues to receive candidates for MD CAT, test centers have been set up in Karachi University and Dow University Ojha campus.
The number of candidates in Sindh is 40 thousand 539, while in total more than 40 thousand 500 candidates have registered for MD CAT.
The number of registered female candidates is 24 thousand 464, while the number of male candidates is 16 thousand 75.
10,000 candidates will participate in Karachi University while 5,000 candidates will participate in Dow University. The sealed papers have reached the examination centers.
