All medicines are new, not registered in Pakistan before
The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan has clarified that there has been no increase in the prices of medicines.
Yesterday, the news came out that DRAP (Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan) has increased the prices of 25 medicines.
In the explanation issued in this regard, it is said that the government has fixed the price of 25 newly registered medicines.
According to Drap, these are all 25 new drugs, which were not registered in Pakistan before.
All 25 medicines are being offered for sale in the first barmarket.
The explanatory statement also states that as the new drug has been registered in combination with paracetamol, there has been no increase in the price of plain paracetamol.
