A two-member bench headed by the Chief Justice will hear the petitions
In the Supreme Court, the petition for canceling the bail of Senior Vice President PML-N Maryam Nawaz and former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah was set for hearing.
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial will hear Maryam Nawaz’s bail application on August 22. The bench also includes Justice Athar Manullah.
It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz is accused of assets in excess of income in the Shamim Sugar Mills case, in this context a request was filed by NAB to cancel the bail of the League leader.
On the other hand, the application for canceling the bail of former interior minister Rana Sanaullah has also been scheduled for hearing.
A 2-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial will hear the case on August 23. In this regard, the court has issued notices to the parties.
