Zong Daily Internet Packages
Zong started operations as Paktel by Cable & Wireless in 1991. It was the first company which was granted a free license to carry out cellular phone services in Pakistan. It carried out AMPS services until 2004 when the company launched GSM services. In 2003, Millicom Corporation bought Paktel from Cable & Wireless. In January 2007, Millicom International Cellular S.A. desired to sell its stake in Paktel Limited to China Mobile. The sale implied the value for Paktel.
In May 2007, Paktel Limited was changed to China Mobile Pakistan. In May 2007, China Mobile announced that it had increased its stake in CMPak. On April 1, 2008, Paktel was rebranded to Zong.
It offers many Zong net packages that include 3G & 4G. The most used Zong daily internet packages are as follows:
Daily Basic Premium Internet package offers its customer with 500 MBs of the internet for the duration of 1 day and at the price of Rs 25+tax only and the offer can be subscribed by dialing *6464#; in order to check the remaining data dial *102#.
Zong Weekly Internet Packages
Mega Weekly internet package offers its customers with 4 GBs volume of the internet for the duration of 1 week and at the price of Rs 160+tax only; the offer can be subscribed by dialing *6464# and in order to check the remaining data dial *102#.
Super Weekly Plus internet package offers its customers with 3 GBs volume of the internet for the duration of 1 week and at the price of Rs 130+Tax only; the offer can be subscribed by dialing *6464# and in order to check the remaining data dial *102#.
Super Weekly internet package offers its customers with 2 GBs volume of the internet for the duration of 1 week and at the price of Rs 100+ax only. Dial *6464# to subscribe and *102# to check the remaining data.
Zong Monthly Internet Packages
Zong has built the third largest cellular network in the country with over 6000 base stations. In order to go green, Zong has installed solar-powered cell sites in various locations. It has the country’s largest solar powered telecommunications network.
Zong and Facebook have launched a joint initiative of Free Basics in Pakistan, which gives access to 50+ free services covering a range of categories including news, health, travel, jobs, sports, education, services for women, and entertainment. Zong engages in the provision of cellular mobile voice and data services to the Pakistani market through 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies.

Zong Others Internet Packages
The Super Student Bundle is particularly designed for the students. The package comes with data and call facility for minimum charges. Sometimes, the students need some MBs to browse anything related to their assignment or they need to download something immediately. So, this package fulfills their needs.
Zong offers two add-ons along with the above-given data bundles. If you have consumed 80% of your data volume, you are authorized to add some more MBs to your data volume. Zong also offers Social 2G, 3G & 4G Internet Packages for Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp usage. With Zong Data Share, you can share your 2G, 3G & 4G internet data packages with up to 10 friends and family members. All members can simultaneously enjoy the mobile internet.
