Pak Afghan One Day Series: Green Shirts Winning Toss and Deciding Batting

The series will bring Pakistan to number one in the ODI rankings

In the first match of the Pak -Afghan ODI series played in Sri Lanka, the Pakistan cricket team has won the toss and decided to bat first.

The first match of the three -match series is being played in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, where Pakistani captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited the Afghan team to bowl.

After winning the toss, Babar Azam said that he would increase the pressure on Afghanistan by scoring a good score.

The second match of the Pak -Afghan One -Day series will also be played in Hambantota on August 24, while the third and final match will be played in Colombo on August 26.

Afghanistan cricket team’s middle -order batterniber Zadran has been out of the team after suffering a knee injury.

According to the Afghan Cricket Board, Shahidullah Kamal has been added to the squad instead of Najib Zardan.

It should be noted that the series against Afghanistan will bring the Green Shirts back to the number one position in one -day cricket.
