Pakistan Defense Day is being celebrated today, President and Prime Minister salute the martyrs

The nation stands with the army, caretaker prime minister

Defense and Martyrs Day of Pakistan is being celebrated today with national and national enthusiasm.

The special event will be held at GHQ Rawalpindi. The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21 in the provincial capitals.

The main function of Defense Day will be held at General Headquarters Rawalpindi, which will be addressed by the Army Chief.

The families of the martyrs and military authorities will participate in the ceremony. Special events will be held in naval, airbases and cantonments regarding Defense Day, in which the exhibition of defense equipment will be the focus.

On the occasion of Defense and Martyrs Day, Pakistan Air Force cadets will take over the duties of guards at the Quaid’s mausoleum in the changing of guards ceremony at the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Regarding the Day of Defense and Martyrs, President Arif Alvi said in his message that we salute the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country, the brave sons of the country fought fearlessly against the enemy and created a bright chapter in history.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said in his message on Defense and Martyrs Day that today Pakistan is facing security challenges like extremism, terrorism and external aggression.

He said that the nation is standing with its brave forces to thwart the evil intentions against the country’s integrity and development, they will protect Pakistan from all kinds of security and economic challenges with hard work and dedication.

The Caretaker Prime Minister said that the long-standing conflict of Jammu and Kashmir is the biggest challenge for the peace and security of the region, and the international community should go ahead and play its role in solving this problem.

ISPR says that the battle of September 6, 1965 proved that the brave nation is always ready to protect its borders. The entire nation salutes his sacrifices.

According to ISPR, we as a nation are indebted to the sacrifices of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives, the armed forces of Pakistan are committed to defend the homeland against all kinds of internal and external threats, and any attempt to harm Pakistan. A blunt answer will be given.
