Pakistan has once again expressed serious concern to the Afghan government.

According to the sources, the Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Durrani informed Pakistan’s concern and said that Afghanistan has tried to build a checkpoint inside Pakistan’s border at Torkham border.

Pakistan gave a clear stand and said that the purpose of establishing the outpost is to occupy Pakistani territory and under no circumstances can they hand over their territory to anyone.

Sources said that after the firing incident, the Afghan side stopped the work of building a check post, while the Afghan territory was used in the Chitral terrorist attack.

In a meeting with Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Asif Durrani, the Afghan Governor said that Afghanistan is worried about the continuous closure of the Torkham border.

Sources say that Afghan Affairs Minister Sardar Ahmed Shakib insisted on opening the Torkham border, saying that the border closure is a nuisance for trawlers and general traffic.

The Afghan Governor said that the people around the border are worried and he also indicated to open the Torkham border soon.
