Pakistani batsman Iftikhar Ahmed blames the Indian team

Iftikhar Ahmed has been included in Pakistan’s squad for Asia Cup 2023.
Pakistan cricket team’s renowned batsman Iftikhar Ahmed has denied the viral statement attributed to him on social media.

He said on his social media account X (Twitter) that no professional cricketer would make such a statement.

A statement attributed to him had been going viral on social media platforms for the past few days in which he had allegedly compared playing against India to playing with “street children”.

This alleged statement caused a stir among cricket fans.

The cricketer denied this and slammed the user for spreading misinformation and promoting hatred.

He also appealed to Elon Musk, the owner of the Twitter platform, to ban the account responsible for the misleading post.

Iftikhar Ahmad is known as one of the most popular cricketers of Pakistan.

Before Iftikhar Ahmed, Nasir Hussain also received a similar anti-India statement after the India-Pakistan match.

Iftikhar Ahmed has been included in Pakistan’s squad for Asia Cup 2023 which will be led by Babar Azam.

Earlier, he gave a brilliant performance for Colombo Strikers in the Sri Lanka Premier League (LPL).
