The increase in the prices of petroleum products should be declared null and void, Lahore High Court
The Lahore High Court has sought response from the government and OGRA in the petition against the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed heard the miscellaneous petition of the Judicial Activism Panel against the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
In the petition, the position was adopted that the prices of petroleum products in the country are being increased, the prices of petroleum products in the country have increased compared to the world market and there is no compatibility between them.
The petitioner pleaded with the court that the increase in the prices of petroleum products will increase the inflation in the country, so the increase in the prices should be declared null and void.
The court issued notices to the federal government and OGRA and others on the various petitions and sought their response.
