The President’s emphasis on the need to maintain the supremacy of the Constitution
Caretaker Federal Minister for Law and Justice Ahmed Irfan Aslam had a meeting with President Dr. Arif Alvi.
The meeting between the two was held in the President’s House in which many issues related to the conduct of general elections in the country were discussed.
On this occasion, the President emphasized the need to maintain the supremacy of the Constitution and appreciated the caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar’s statement that the caretaker government will abide by the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on this matter.
During the meeting, President Arif Alvi told the caretaker law minister that the decisions should be in accordance with the spirit of the constitution.
