Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the desecration of the Quran in front of the Iraqi Embassy in Denmark.
Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief on the micro-blogging website Twitter over the desecration of the Holy Quran.
He wrote in his tweet that Muslims are saddened by the desecration of the Quran in front of the Iraqi embassy and we Pakistanis are also in deep pain and suffering over this incident.
He wrote that there is a negative strategy behind the continuous occurrence of disgusting and satanic incidents, which is harming religious harmony and promoting Islamophobia.
Shahbaz Sharif said that I demand the governments and especially the religious leaders to stop such heinous incidents.
He wrote at the end of his tweet that we cannot allow a handful of misguided people to hurt the sentiments of billions of Muslims and we will not allow the agenda of these few people with negative intentions to thrive.
