Rawalpindi Sadrwah police arrested the accused who raped an 11-year-old girl.
According to the police, the accused was identified as Rashid, who raped an 11-year-old girl a week ago. CPO Rawalpindi took notice of the incident and ordered the arrest of the accused.
Teams were formed to arrest the accused under the supervision of SSP Investigation and SP Pothohar.
According to SP Potohar Muhammad Waqas, the teams traced the accused through scientific investigation and human intelligence after tireless efforts.
On the request of the victim girl’s father, Sadrwah police registered an immediate case. SSP Investigation Zanira Azfar said that the accused will be challaned with concrete evidence and will be punished.
CPO Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani congratulated SP Pothohar and the team for tracing and arresting the unknown accused. CPO Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani said that abuse of children is intolerable, zero tolerance policy is being ensured.
