Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq will hear the application today
A petition was filed in the Islamabad High Court to dismiss civil judge Asim Hafeez, the husband of the accused who tortured Rizwana.
An application has been filed on behalf of the President of Civil Society Network Islamabad, which will be heard by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq today.
It should be noted that the wife of Civil Judge Asim Hafeez is on judicial remand on the charge of torture in Malama torture case.
On the other hand, civil judge Asim Hafeez was demoted to OSD due to torture case.
After the order of Chief Justice Lahore High Court to make Civil Judge Asim Hafeez OSD, the Registrar High Court had issued a notification in this regard.
Civil Judge has been posted as OSD in Rawalpindi and he was directed to take charge in Rawalpindi before August 19.
