A strong defence, adherence to the constitution and an empowered parliament are the guarantees of national security, the former president said
Former President Asif Ali Zardari says that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto strengthened the country’s defense by giving missile technology.
In a statement issued on the occasion of Defense Day, Asif Ali Zardari said that Shaheed Quaid-e-Awam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ensured the defense of the country by giving nuclear program, while Ms. Benazir Bhutto Shaheed strengthened the country’s defense by giving missile technology.
He said that today no enemy can even think of attacking our country, strong defense, adherence to the constitution and empowered parliament are the guarantee of the security of the country.
The former president said that we have to clean the beautiful valleys of the country from anti-national terrorists.
On the other hand, former provincial minister and People’s Party leader Sharjeel Memon said in a statement that September 6 is the day of our national unity, solidarity and patriotism.
Sharjeel Memon said that Defense Day renews national enthusiasm and unity, faith and belief, we cannot forget the eternal sacrifices of our martyrs.
