Islamabad: (UrduLight.com) The hearing will be held today on the constitutional petitions filed against the new law to review the decisions of the Supreme Court.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial will hold the hearing at 11:30 a.m. Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar will also join the bench.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court has previously stayed the implementation of the Practice and Procedure Act, while the petitioners have requested the court to declare the Supreme Court Review of Orders and Judgments Act null and void.
The petitioners have also requested to stop the immediate implementation of the Supreme Court Review of Orders and Judgments.
