Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Maryam Nawaz says that the incident in Sweden has hurt the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
In his statement on the social networking site Twitter, he said that discrimination in the name of freedom of expression must be stopped.
Maryam Nawaz said that it is important to respect all beliefs and strongly condemn prejudice in the name of freedom of expression.
On the other hand, against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, the Day of Sanctification of the Holy Quran will be celebrated across Pakistan today.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called the entire nation to protest after Friday prayers.
