Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin are not coming to the conference. The President of Mexico is not coming, while the arrival of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also doubtful. The Chinese president has decided not to attend the first Barji 20 conference.
Al Jazeera TV has raised the question that ‘will a divided G20 conference in India be found on the global agenda?’
In one of its reports, Al Jazeera said, “If India fails to issue a joint statement at the end of the G20 meeting due to differences between the leaders, this will be the first time such an embarrassing situation will arise.”
One of the major reasons for the failure of the G20 conference is the war in Ukraine.
According to Al Jazeera, after India became the president of the G20 in December, it has not been able to create any consensus at the G20 level in this regard and the result is that the G20 working group that has been holding meetings in India for the past several months. No documents could be released on the work of the groups.
Therefore, the September 9-10 conference is the ‘last chance’ for India to perform.
