Sugar’s smuggling may not be stopped, then the quality may have to be resolved, the cans commission
In Lahore, the price of sugar has been increased by Rs 3 once again, and the retail price of Chinese has increased to Rs 160, while Ken Commissioner Punjab said that crisis can be faced if sugar smuggling is not stopped.
The price of sugar has been increased further in Lahore, sugar in retail has increased by Rs 3 more expensive, after which the price has increased to Rs 160 kg.
Market dealers say 50kg sack in the wholesale market has risen to 7600. However, retailers say that 50kg sacks of sugar fall at Rs 8000 and in the last few days the price of sugar has increased by Rs 5 kg.
Market sources say that Ken Commissioner Punjab has sought the record of stocks from sugar mills and stocks have become active when recorded, which may increase the price of sugar.
The stocks are being expired due to Chinese trafficking
On the other hand, Ken Commissioner Punjab Abdul Rauf has issued posts to the Deputy Commissioners of Punjab, stating that the smuggling of sugar may not have to be stopped, then the condition may have to be resolved.
The Ken Commissioner made it clear that the stock is being eliminated due to Chinese smuggling, strict monitoring of existing sugar stocks, strict legal action should be taken against smugglers.
According to sources, the Ken Commissioner issued posts to the Deputy Commissioners of Rajanpur, DG Khan, Mianwali, Rahim Yarkhan.
