The prices of petroleum products have been hiked, and after the hike in diesel prices, the railway administration has started working on fare hikes.
Yesterday, the caretaker government increased the prices of petroleum products by Rs 20 per litre, and the price of petrol rose by Rs 17 and a half to Rs 290 45 paise, while high speed diesel rose to Rs 293 40 paise after an increase of Rs 20.
On the other hand, train fares are likely to increase after the hike in diesel prices, and sources say that the railway administration has started working on the fare hike.

Along with the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the public transport fares in Lahore have also been increased
