Toshakhana case was heard against the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in District and Sessions Court Islamabad.
On behalf of Chairman PTI, the request for exemption from attendance was filed once again, on which Election Commission’s lawyer Saad Hasan objected to the request for exemption.
PTI’s lawyer Gohar Ali Khan today filed a request to adjourn the hearing saying that there are security concerns for the PTI chairman’s appearance in the district court.
He said that the session court also decided on three applications in one day.
The session judge remarked that in the last three days, lawyer Khawaja Haris did not appear even once, he gave an undertaking that Khawaja Haris would appear.
The judge said that the court is being very lenient towards you in the Toshakhana case, an example of such lenient behavior is not found anywhere else.
The session judge said that give the arguments at 11:30 or else I will take a decision after listening to the Election Commission’s lawyer.
