The judicial remand of former PTI minister Yasmin Rashid and former Governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema arrested in the Jinnah House attack has been extended by 11, 11 days.

The PTI leader and former provincial minister arrested in other cases, including burning of the PML -N office, attacking the military tower and burning the police station, was presented to the Lahore Anti -Terrorism Court on the expiry of judicial remand.

The investigating officer requested that judicial remand be extended in four cases of Yasmin Rashid.

The court extended Yasmin Rashid’s judicial remand for 11 days and ordered them to be re -presented on September 1.

On the other hand, former Governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema, who was arrested in the Jinnah House attack and vandalism, was also presented in court.

Police presented Omar Sarfraz Cheema on a wheelchair due to a medical malfunction and requested extension of judicial remand.

The court also extended the judicial remand of former Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema for 11 days and ordered them to be re -presented on September 1.
