Zul Shah murder case: Interim bail of PTI leaders including Yasmin Rashid denied
The Sessions Court of Lahore (UrduLight.com) rejected the interim bail of PTI leaders including Dr. Yasmin Rashid in the Zul Shah murder case, while the court extended the interim bail of Fawad Chaudhry and Raja Shakeel Zaman till June 3.
Additional Sessions Judge Lahore Mohsin Bilal Baig held a hearing on the interim bails in the Zul Shah murder case, Mehmood-ul-Rashid, Yasmin Rashid, Farrukh Habib did not appear before the court today.
Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Farrukh Habib, Fawad Chaudhry, Mahmood-ul-Rashid and Raja Shakeel Zaman had obtained interim bail.
The lawyers of Fawad Chaudhry and Raja Shakeel Zaman submitted a request for exemption from attendance.
The lawyers assured the court that they will complete the final arguments at the next hearing.
The sessions court extended the interim bail till June 3 by accepting the pleas of Fawad Chaudhry and Raja Shakeel Zaman.
The court dismissed the application of Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Farrukh Habib and Mahmood-ul-Rashid for non-compliance of bail.
According to the public prosecutor, a case has been registered against the accused on the statement of the accused who took Ali Bilal alias Zal Shah to the hospital. According to the FIR, Ali Bilal was hit by Vigo Dale while walking on the road, injured I was shifted to the hospital but he died while the accused in Vigo Dale escaped from the spot.
